The 13-day version for Mumbai departure gives you one additional day compared to the Delhi budget package. This extra day is a transit buffer — flights from Mumbai to Dehradun can be delayed, the drive to Haridwar adds time, and starting a mountain circuit rushed is not ideal. The extra day means you arrive at Barkot (Yamunotri base) without the pressure of a packed Day 1.
