This extended package combines the Hindu Char Dham pilgrimage with Hemkund Sahib, one of the most important Sikh pilgrimage sites. Located at 4,632 meters, Hemkund Sahib is surrounded by seven peaks and a glacial lake.
Hemkund Sahib
According to Sikh tradition, Guru Gobind Singh meditated here in his previous birth. The Gurdwara sits beside a beautiful lake surrounded by Brahma Kamal flowers. The trek from Ghangaria is 6 km but steep.
Valley of Flowers
The route to Hemkund Sahib passes through Ghangaria, which is also the base for the famous Valley of Flowers (UNESCO World Heritage Site). If timing permits, a day trip to the valley can be added.
